Dear Steven and meep users,

I made a simulation without structure (only a block with a neff index) in
order to visualize how the gaussian source generates waves in the space and
also to see its profile.

I found something that I can not understand. In MEEP Reference, says that by
default the temporal width of the source is 5 times (1/df) both sides.
Taking this into account, I could see that the source really takes this
times ON, but there is a little problem. I have magnified the field using -m
and -M of the h5topng utility, and I could see that the source is still
present with an amplitude of 10e-6 approx. Why is the source really not
turned OFF? Am I doing something wrong? (From other simulation using
run-sources+ some time, I could see this effect also, so the question still
remains the same).

I hope somebody can help me with this.

Thank you in advance,
Gerardo.
