Hi, I have a newbie question. Is it possible to use periodic boundary condition for flux (transmission & reflection spectra) calculation?
I need to calculate T & R spectra for a photonic crystal containing dispersive material (freq-dependent eps). I guess MPB doesn't support f-dep eps, so Meep will be the way to go. I'm thinking of setting up a PhC with the source at -Z end and the flux observer at +Z end, following the great tutorial. I like to put PML just for +-Z, and use periodic boundaries for X and Y edges. So here's my question: how do I specify the periodicity in X & Y edges in such a case? Can I do that through k-points or run-k-points? If the periodicity can be set, does it mean that everything (PhC, source, and flux) is automatically duplicated along X & Y? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks a bunch. Oh-Yeah?
