Hi Pramod, >Is there a way to excite a particular mode instead of launching a light source >in meep?
Yes there is. You set up an extended source that crosses the waveguide, and you give it the amplitude and phase of the mode that you want. It should then only excite that mode in the waveguide. But I need to take a long waveguide for that and it takes a lot of computational time. Is there a way to excite a particular mode instead of launching a light source in meep? Thanking You. -- Vinay Pramod _______________________________________________ meep-discuss mailing list meep-discuss@ab-initio.mit.edu http://ab-initio.mit.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/meep-discuss
