I've hacked the source code and found following snippet.

In my opinion, take the case in two-dimension as an example. If the
origin is set at the left-bottom corner,
for Ex, points on the bottom edge are not owned, for Hz, points on top and
right edge are not owned. But, in
the above snippet, for a given component, only the little corner is shifted.
So, I'm wondering If this is right for Hz.
