I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to use the
outstanding softwear MEEP to perform scientific calculations. However,
after I had studied closely the instructions given on the web site, I
still could not find the detailed description of the method which is
adopted for transmittion spectrum in periodic structures calculations.
In your research "MEEP: A flexible free-software package for
electromagnetic simulations by the FDTD method" it is said that all the
calculations are carried out using the FDTD method. Unfortunately, there
is no precise formalism or algorithm given there.
I was wondering if you could possibly send me the references to the
publications, books or articles where the precise method of transmittion
spectrum calculations used in MEEP softwear is explained.
