Dear meep users,

I have a question about oblique angle wave propagation from Gaussian source in
a wide range of frequency. as i checked related questions and meep discussion
files I found that there is a way to do it for very narrow frequency range to
make plane wave; it can be done for periodic media.
I would like to know that is there any possibility to have broad range of
Gaussian source in non-periodic media with oblique propagation direction?

I thought may be it can be done by defining the normal vector K for the
direction of the propagation, but do not multiply it with the size of wave
vector. then, we would have phase definition instead of amplitude for our
source.
I don't know if it is correct or it is meaning less in meep.

Best
Mahdieh
