Dear Meep users and developers,

I am trying to compute the dispersion curve/band diagram of a PhC W1.2
waveguide. My purpose is to compare this results to those provided by GME
program by Andreani's group.

Then I borrowed the structure of the example of band calculations from the
tutorial and use
(run-k-points ...)

Say X the direction of the waveguide, I set up a domain one period long in X
and put PML in Z and Y.

It works, despite it makes a sort of cluster of points in the upper part (I
presume it is a matter of harminv numerical precision and pulse width).

Then, in order to speed up the calculation, I'd like to use symmetry in Z.
(set! symmetries (list (make mirror-sym (direction Z) (phase -1))))
should correspond to the TE modes (Hz).

This calculation outputs all zeros. I tried both parities (should I be
mistaken), but I get the same result. I moved the source above the Z=0
plane: nothing to do.

Has someone faced the same issue?

Thank you.
