Hi, I believe this has been discussed in the past, but I was wondering if someone had a successful route for installing Meep and getting the HDF5 installation to work so that we don't get the error: meep: not compiled with HDF5, required for HDF5 output
Apparently the issue with installing Meep via Debian has been solved to include the HDF5 component but on the unstable package. I tried a few different times to do this, but with my heavily limited experience with Unix, I couldn't figure out how to install the unstable package. If anyone could forward me a successful installation path or guide me through that, I would be very thankful.
