Hi everyone. I was running a simple 2d simulation on a microdisk (which are highly multimode). When i run the ctl file using the regular version of meep, i get 2 resonant frequencies. When i run the ctl file using meep-mpi, i just many more resonances which are closely packed together. What i was originally thinking was that the mpi results might be more accurate and show the multimode nature of the disk and the regular version was just missing the closely spaced modes. I looked at a gif of the field output and they looked basically identical.Just wondering if other have noticed this using meep-mpi.
