Can anybody point me to a minimum working example of simulating some metal structure in 3D using python-meep, please?
The frequency lies around 1 THz, so I expect the gold fishnet is well described by its conductivity. (For optical frequencies, there is a nice guide at http://msdresearch.blogspot.com/2012/02/understanding-meeps-dispersive-media.html). Therefore, I defined conductivity using the code from here: https://lists.launchpad.net/python-meep/msg00040.html . I can create a stack+polygon of material and run the simulation, but the waves always propagate in the material without any exponential decay, which I interpret as that the conductivity does not apply to anything. I can attach the 5 kB source upon request. Thank you in advance, Filip _______________________________________________ meep-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://ab-initio.mit.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/meep-discuss
