Dear all,
I'm interested in computing the field interacting with an arbitrary phase
retardation profile, such as that measured using a phase microscopy technique
but can find no reference to this technique online. Is it possible?
I'm trying to do something similar to the work in this paper: Solovei et al,
Cell 137, 356-368, 2009 - http://goo.gl/1HkRg
Specifically the results shown in Fig. 7 C4 in which a plane wave is incident
on a horizontal 1D line with an arbitrary phase retardation along it.
