Filip, Thank you for the response, I believe the numbers that are part of the material definitions I'm using were determined from using that same model, so I think everything should be OK. I was just trying to have some sort of double check that I had the right values in MEEP. So it sounds like you've done some of these checks and verified that MEEP has the correct behavior which helps me to have some more confidence.
I did compile the old version 1.1.1, and checked using the meep-fields-analytic-chi1 function that the values in the visible spectrum were in line with some values and models that I found in other papers, so that seems good too. If you do package up your work and put it online in some format let us know, I'd be interested in taking a look.
