Dear Steven and Meep users, Does Meep make the current simulation time available to the user? If so, what is the name of that parameter?
The alternative is to use t = 0 to start, calculate dt and propagate like (set! t (+ t dt)) or something similar. This question is in the context of custom-src, where I want to turn off the Gaussian after a run specific number of periods of the drive center frequency. I need to see the behavior of the fields in my very high Q resonate cavity when the source is cut off but time stepping until the cavity reaches saturation is out of the question. And if someone has a custom source like that, would you mind sharing it with me?
