Hi Pythoners,

The Australian Government is requesting submissions for a Review of the
Innovation Patent System. We all understand that software patents don't
serve inventors, and now we have an opportunity to make a written
submission to voice our concerns.

Submissions close next Friday, the 4th October!

The review has already show a genuine interest in our plight, so simply
making a brief comment will help convince them to take the next step.
Ben Sturmfels has prepared the following, no-nonsense guide to help you,
and includes details around the submission process:

I urge members of the Australian software industry to consider making a
submission. Let's join New Zealand in becoming the next country to ban
software patents.

Regards,
Graeme
