I've almost finished a project built with AngularJS + RapydScript for
the frontend, and Bottle with Postgres (via sqlalchemy) for the backend,
and I must say I've been pretty happy with the result.
Neo4J looks really interesting, although not immediately relevant to my
current crop of projects.
