I've definitely had similar thoughts to what you're proposing particularly with regards to extricating plastic from the oceans and waterways. Absolutely no idea how feasible it is though. As a general line of thought though, I'm really interested in the convergence of software, hardware and waste management so cool to hear other people are thinking about it too.

I think China has triggered that.
