Hi all, Just wondering if there are any experienced Python Developers working in the CBD that I could buy lunch and ask some questions / get advice on a potential, major, career change from I.T. Sales into Python Development.
I'd be keen to address such topics as: - Are bootcamps worth the money? If so, which ones do employers look favourable upon? - How 'good' do I need to be before applying for a Junior Python Developer position? - Identify any other things I don't even know / haven't considered. I've taught myself Python over the past year or so, and can figure out most things given the time, but I have no clue how ready ( or not ) I might be. I have zero people in my sphere that are developers to ask these dumb questions! So, free lunch at a nice venue ( within reason - no Rockpool! ).
