Hi all,

I'm hoping someone who has had this problem can offer some advice.
Preparing for work to unify some similar systems, I've just installed meld to
assist with editing.

The install was a bit problematic, but eventually went ok without any manual
tinkering.
Some additional items from the distribution needed to be installed.
Also, in my haste, some rpms and tar balls were downloaded and installed.
Not sure all were necessary ... but it's a long story.

End result was that install all seemed to go ok ... but now there are identical
highlighting problems in gedit and meld.
Some text is highlighted ok but, for example, C function bodies appear almost
entirely blank.
The text does appear when 'selected', but only the first and last line of the
selection.

Clearly this change must be related to my recent software installation.
I've refreshed any related installation entries I'm aware of through the Yast
software manager, but no change.
Even restarted the machine.

I'm really hoping someone can tell me what I've done wrong, and suggest a
possible fix.
Certainly in a bit of a mess at the moment!

Thanks,
Greg Shearer
