Hey all,

After consulting with Luke about needs for Melkjug we've come up with the following scope brief. Bryan, our resident user advocate and copywriting wizard, will be chatting with y'all to figure out what Melkjug is about and help communicate that out.

--Scope brief--

Melkjug's project website and demo implementation are currently vague and somewhat confusing to many potential users. We need to go over some of the conceptual bits and tease out concepts that need some direct explanation or reworking. It is important to develop an understandable description for the project and it's probably worth thinking a bit about who the target is and who it works for right now. The goal of this project is to draft marketing materials and goals for Melkjug that could serve as touchstones for future directions and inform future decisions.

Although there is probably a fair amount of wording and straight documentation that could be done, getting too detailed with that is probably a waste right now as there are currently a lot of moving pieces.

Melkjug has already started to define a path for itself and any evaluations or proposals should be informed by Luke's vision for the product and Sonali's current experience design documents. The focus should be on communicating what currently exists and posing questions and directions for the future—not on developing new design ideas (though suggestions can be annotated as appropriate).

Deliverables:
 * Evaluation of Melkjug project page
 * Rewriting and restructuring of Melkjug project page (as needed)
 * Goals for Melkjug—product, design, audience (with Luke and Sonali)
 * Refinement of existing Experience Design documents (with Sonali)
 * Evaluation of content on Melkjug demo
 * Proposal for content on Melkjug demo
