Accountant - range of $4,547 to $5,264 per month plus benefits Duties include full responsibility for preparation and review of general ledger, including related journal entries; month end and year end financial reports; budget development and monitoring; supervision of payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets and other general ledger activity; and cash management and investment support. Position requires four years of municipal experience, bachelors degree in accounting or business. A masters degree or CPA is highly desired. Accounting Technician - range of $3,530 to $4,040 per month plus benefits Position has full charge responsibility for payroll administration, processing and reporting. Duties include preparation and issuance of payroll checks, preparing reports and payments to various tax, financial and insurance organizations, maintainance of employee records, compliance with tax laws, labor contracts and other governing documents, completing deferred compensation payments, and managing individual employee payroll files. Position requires high school diploma plus four years experience in payroll and accounting field. College work and governmental payroll experience is highly desired.
