put considerable thought into this issue as we revised our policy last year.

I am conducting a survey on the automobile replacement policies for vehicles used by 
city officials.  What standards are used to evaluate when a car should be replaced - 
mileage, years of service or other?
I am interested in vehicles that are used for general business functions such as 
visiting building sites, staff business vehicles etc. not heavy duty usage like police 
cars.  I will post results of all responses I receive by end of day Monday, December 
20.  Thank you for your help.
