Hi, folks: The City of Brisbane has hired a consultant to assist a working committee of staffers develop comprehensive IT policies and procedures which will be implemented now that we have invested heavily in a brand new network. We are looking for samples from anyone who may have gone through this exercise. We have already pulled down those from the Resource Room, but would like more. We are developing the following: 1. Administration Policies * Tape back-up, processes, and procedures * Off-site data storage * proactive maintenance * protecting against meeting system thresholds * measuring system utilization * keeping accurate error logs * keeping accurate change logs * maintaining security * user access to shared resources such as internet 2. End user policies * internet usage expectations * basic workstation care * data storage * requesting new software or peripherals * standardizations, policies on installing software and workstation usage * security considerations.
