The Camarillo Finance Department just received notice that our payroll clerk
has accepted a promotional position in another department. Because of that,
I am interesting in exploring all options. If you have converted from
preparing your payroll in-house and now use ADP or some other outside source
for payroll processing, I am interested in hearing your thoughts on the pros
and cons of each (in-house and out-house.) Please include the number of
paychecks you process each payroll. I would also be interested in knowing
how much work has to still be done in-house to prepare for submittal to your
outsourcing contractor.
