The City of Monterey is reviewing our current policy concerning the reimbursement of
employees (particularly management employees) for membership and related fees in
service/fraternal clubs such as Kiwanis, Rotary, Lions, Masons etc. Currently we do
not reimburse for any of these expenses, but, we now have an employee request to do
so. If you have a policy that establishes guidelines for such memberships and
associated reimbursements we are interested in your guidelines and any restriction.
