Attached for your use is a registration form for the April Orange County
CSMFO Chapter meeting. The meeting is scheduled for April 27th at the
Wyndham Gardens Hotel in Costa Mesa (across the street from South Coast
Plaza just south of Bristol). The featured guest speaker will be Rob
Braulik of California Communities. He will be speaking on their CaLease and
Cooperative Purchasing Programs. These programs provide for low cost
tax-exempt equipment financing for California local government agencies.
California Communities is a statewide public agency established in 1987 as a
California Joint Powers Authority. It is jointly sponsored by the
California State Association of Counties and the League of California
Cities. Currently, over 305 counties, cities and special districts are
members.
Last month we had a great turnout (91 pre-registrants and 89 attendees) at
the Clubhouse restaurant in South Coast Plaza. Our featured guest speaker
was Richard Babbe of PFM. He spoke to our group regarding "The Impact of
Duration on Your Investment Decisions." Copies of his Power Point
presentation slides are available from him at (949)721-9422.
We are expecting another great turnout so get your registrations in early!

or by mailing in the attached registration form. You can pay at the door if
you prefer. However, we would encourage your pre-payment so that we can
minimize your wait time at the door and get everyone checked in as quickly
as possible. If you need a map please let us know and we will fax one to
