I would like to make a request of the email group and I'm interested in how others feel. The number of emails coming to the group continues to grow as more people realize the power of this tool. That's great! It is a very effective means of getting help in areas where we may not have the expertise ourselves. I have found it extremely valuable. However, it also takes a lot of time to screen through the volume of emails received every day. I don't want to unsubscribe because much of the information is very useful to me but I am finding a larger part of each day being consumed in screening emails (not only from this group, but from the world in general). My request is that members use this tool only when they want to reach all CSMFO members. Chapter meetings and other "area specific" information may be best advertised using an email group made up of only the members in that area or others who request to be added to the list.
