Recent revisions to AB83 (the home-based business screen writers business tax
exemption bill) opened Pandora's box even wider to exclude the limitation to Los
Angeles county and open the door for other groups to request similar exemption. The
bill will be heard in Senate Rev & Tax on either June 21 or July 7. A sample
opposition letter is attached. Members of Rev & tax committee include:
