As part of the work the City of Ventura is currently doing in preparation for its implementation of GASB 34, we would like to get a copy of your city's fixed asset administrative policy and/or administrative regulation. Specifically, we are interested in the dollar tress-hold (lower limit...$1,000 or $5,000 per unit cost) for items being included in your fixed asset inventory/depreciation system. Also, do you anticipate revising your administrative policy and/or administrative regulation due to GASB 34? Please respond on or before June 30, 2000.
