It's that time of year again and the CSMFO Budget Awards Committee is
seeking volunteers to be reviewers for the 2000/2001 program. It takes
about two - four hours to review an operating or capital budget and less
time, usually, to review in the other two categories (public communication
and innovation in budgeting). Each reviewer will receive some guidelines
along with the document they are being asked to review.
If you haven't already signed up this year and would like to participate as
a reviewer, please complete the attached sign up sheet and email it back to
me. You will need to save it as your own file and attach it to your return
email before you send it back.
It's a great way to see some innovative budget ideas and it looks great on
your resume, so please join the ever-growing number of enlightened finance
professionals that have volunteered in the past. Your help is really
appreciated.
