The City of Commerce would like to know what levels of authority have been granted in your city to department heads and city manager/administrator to enter into contracts for services, without the approval of the City Council. This authority could be based on dollar amount, term or type of contract. Responses by August 2 would be greatly appreciated and summarized for distribution to this group.
