Good Morning All!
It is with great sadness that I pass along the following news. Carole
Gierhart's daughter Kristi passed away early Tuesday morning of this week
from complications with her battle with leukemia. Carole is recently
retired from the City of Oceanside where she served for many years. Carole
is a Past-President of CMTA and has also been active on the Board for many
years. Please join us in supporting Carole and her family as they go
through this very challenging time.
There will be a memorial service for Kristi this Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the
Foothills United Church of Christ in Santa Ana. The address is 19211 Dodge
Avenue (it is on the corner of Newport and Dodge).
The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to go to the
Leukemia Society (which is
now the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Here are two So Cal chapters and the
