Everyone: Previous surveys regarding Investment/Treasury Management Software resulted in several packages being identified (e.g., SymPro). As part of these surveys, some jurisdictions noted that they simply use Excel or a similar spreadsheet software. Before I plunge into the evaluation of specialized software, I am interested in finding out if anyone has customized Excel (using advanced functions such as MDUR) and is pleased with the results of their efforts. If you have and would care to share, I would enjoy receiving a copy. On the other hand, if you strongly recommend shying away from this course and feel that specialized software is worth the investment, please let me know.
