As an FYI, I understand that new software contracts from Accela (the new
firm formed by the merger of Sierra Data Systems and Open Data Systems)
include a clause requiring a payment of $5 plus 10% of the value of each
permit issued/sold over the Internet with that software.

Before signing the contract, you may want to think about that clause.  Seems
a bit excessive to me !
