The attached file summarizes the responses to an information request that I
had sent out in early October. The responses indicate that there is a wide
variety of approaches as to how this incentive is used and implemented. We
also included responses from a number of transit agencies and found that the
incentive is used more widely in cities than in transit, at this point. We
will be continuing how to structure our approach to implementing a bilingual
reward/incentive and I will let the group know what we implement when we
finish the process. Thanks to all who generously participated. I have all
of the responses if anyone would like more specifics, I would be happy to
forward them.
