Ahsen Salim ------------------------------------------------------ Dear Members, As you may be aware, we have a sizeable Pakistani Muslim community in the Burlington NC area, and Abdul Majid and Ghazala Masood of Burlington are pleased to inform you that alhamd-o-lillah the Masjid at Burlington is almost complete and the Burlington community is holding a Quran Khwani in this regard as part of the inaugration, this coming Saturday february 16th at 2pm-5pm. Please attend and participate if you can. This is the FIRST Pakistani Muslim Community masjid in all of North Carolina as far as I know, and it includes a community center and an Islamic Cemetary as well. If you wish to attend, here are the directions. It is a good one hour drive from the Raleigh area (a little less from Durham/Chapel Hill). It is pretty easy to get to the Masjid from the highway. Please bring a one-dish to support the event when you come, enough for 5-6 people. Take I40 West (become I85 West later) Take Exit 138 Make a left at ramp on Hway 61 Masjid is on 1/2 mile on left side. Can't miss it. Sign says "Stewart Construction".
