International Women�s Day at the
World Cultural Center
4200 Lake Ridge Drive, Raleigh 876-7187
March 8th, 10-3pm
There will be discussions about many things, the latest data on women�s status in the
U.S. and particularly the south, health and safety on the job, sex discrimination,
sexual harrassment, World Social Forum reports, and Rania will speak about the war and
Palestine. The cultural
program will be intermixrd through out the day.
Women vendors are welcome. Please call and reserve, space is limited to 10. Cost is
$20.00.
Please call in advance about childcare -- it is free but they want to plan for the
children.
Men are welcome to help with the childcare, the
forums/discussions/workshops are reserved for women.
Free to all, donations welcome.

Go north on Capital Blvd, go about five miles past the Beltline. At New Hope Church
Road, Terrymore Square is on the left, CVS on the right. Turn left and stay in the
right lane, turn right on to Deana (very soon), two blocks and Lake Ridge is on the
left side. WCC is on the left, on the corner. If you find yourself back at Capital
Blvd, you missed it. It is a grey building.
