Message from Mr. Hassan Safvi.... The Pakistani Community of the Triangle will be preparing breakfast at the Community Kitchen, Interfaith Council of Chapel Hill. Breakfast has to be served starting at 6:15 AM and ending at 7:00 AM. Volunteers should be at the kitchen at 5:15 AM. All the raw foods will be there at the kitchen, we just have to prepare and serve it.
Five volunteers will be sufficient to prepare the food, and then four can serve on the cafeteria style serving line while the fifth can assist in keeping the food trays filled with food if we start to run out. Clean up will be done by the residents. I will be there so the need is for four additional volunteers. I will finalize the menu on Friday, but breakfast is a fairly easy meal to prepare. The Community Kitchen is located at the NW corner of Columbia and Rosemary St. If any of the volunteers need additional information or directions please call me at home. Folks let's make this an on going project of the local Pakistani Community and lets show the local Community that we care. Please volunteer.
