The 7th homeless dinner for this year was held on Sunday, December 12th. We are very grateful to Murtaza Sheikh for sponsoring this dinner. We feel blessed that our community has such kind hearted people who donate for a cause that helps our local community and in turn helps our image. We would also like to acknowledge Amer, Asim, Murtaza, Jonathan, his sons Yousuf and Zubair, Reza and Rehan who helped with cooking and serving the dinner.
The Raleigh Homeless Shelter and several other shelters in neighboring 7 counties are supported by Interfaith Food Shuttle, the largest supplier of food in the State of North Carolina. We have established a very good reputation and relationship with IFS and they consider us a very reliable and well prepared group to help with dinners. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who helped with their generous donations and efforts through out this year and making this a very successful outreach program for our community.
