As you all may be aware, hundreds of thousands of people have perished
throughout South Asia and Africa due to the devastating earthquake and
subsequent Tsunamis.

Help has already been sent to these countries but due to the sheer magnitude of
the tragedy, much more help is required.

Although there are a lot of resources on the web to help the tsunami victims,
here are a few pointers to help with the donations in the RDU area.

- Boxes have been put up on the premises of
   local businesses for cash donation.

- Nadia Pasha has sent information about
Mrs. Lalitha Andrady who lives in the Apex
area and is helping with the relief effort.
   Her contact information is:

         Lalitha Andrady
         102 Hasbrouk Dr
         Apex NC 27523

         Phone: 919 363 3489
         Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

She is collecting donations of clothes (for
adults and children), towels and bedsheets,
   medical supplies (gauze, bandages, antiseptic
   creams), ready-to-eat food (cookies, biscuits,
canned food, milk powder, sugar, infant formula,
   bottled water, etc.), toiletries.

She is working with a few people in the triangle
to ship these items to Sri Lanka.

Please contact her and, if possible, volunteer
to pick up items from your friends and drop them
   off at her place.
