TL;DR:
- Can someone track and do eventually GSoC 2025 duties until January
15th 2025 while I am absent?
- Please prepare your project community if you want to participate
already now.
This year we had two projects participating the GSoC 2024 where one of
the projects passed successfully. With both projects I also conducted a
fruitful feedback round that provided more insights in how we can
improve the next time.

I will not be available from the 20 November till 12 January. However, I
would consider to do the administration for GSoC 2025 still. In that
regard, I don't expect much will be required to do, but I would like to
ensure someone to take care on whatever may come from Google and we may
need to do as organization and community. And if it just is to remind
people to prepare and think about it. Most things are documented already:

please consider to prepare now. Onboard people takes time and is key for
a successful participation.
