Hey all,
I put a temp probe just before my T.B. on my non intercooled Z18ET.
Normal driving ie upto 3psi boost occasionally temp averaged about 56 deg
C. One 4th gear full boost run for about 10 second up hill temp peaked at
86 deg C. Is there a general rule for limits before detonation and
therfore intercooling or water injection? Oh yeah running 10psi. I'm
taking on a racetrack soon so it will be interesting to so the effects (of
prolonged boost) on temperature.
