Thanks everyone for the links and other info.
It never rains it pours
OK I went to check out the prices and just get an idea from the blokes I
know and it all turned to shit.
First I have a 180B Girlock brake and master 10 mm dual outlets,
because it has sat around the shed I thought I would reco it with a
kit
but my mate in spares says that they no longer make a kit for it.His
suggestion is to buy a new one at around $250 (cough)of coarse i had pulled it
apart and cleaned it!
Second when I started enquiring about Verada discs and VL turbo
calipers
he thought," here we go" but to cut a long story short a few fone calls and
a bit of waiting it ended up to be $110 calipers(pair) second hand and I suspect
that they might even be VN as this was mentioned during the call is there is any
difference ,$100 for a blank disc ($200 Pair) plus machining. (unable to get a
quote)
Thirdly and its now beer o clock so things might just improve I sit down to
read e.mail and find all this wonderful stuff about 180B struts.A few quick
pulses of the heart beat out to the shed and releaf they seem to be the bigger
style ones anyway I took a few measurements while there and its 31cms from the
base of strut to the bottom of the spring carrier where it meets on the
tower.
Armstrong aust. AS-1014LH
AS-1013RH
I hope these are right.
Some questions raised where with VL sec. hand discs can they be
redrilled?
Do the old holes need to be refilled then new ones drilled into it?
Any more info would be greatly appreciated
Tanks again
