IMHO, FJ20 turbo + 240K brakes+rear standard drums=recipie for disaster
as far as I am concerned.
If I where you I' be going the full 4 wheel disc setup. Skyline rears
and maybe the VL swap up front. Might cost you a few bucks but better
than slamming something or someone and ruining all your hard work.
Start with the VL conversion up front, then do the rears later. You
should be able to get all the bits,(verada undrilled rotors, VL calipers
and 180B struts) and the machining for less than 300 bucks.
Cheaper options? Drive slower....haha, sorry, had to put that one in.
