It doubles the clamping effort on the front disc for a given amount of foot
pressure with the same diameter master cylinder but requires twice the
amount of travel. So to stop the pedal hitting the metal you also need to
fit a larger master cylinder. The larger the master cylinder the more
effort. Sound familiar, four spots are a much easier solution for virtually
the same result & less unsprung weight.
