Dave,
If it's a Bosch it prolly only needs a reg/brush pack (black thing that unscrews from
the back) costs around $40 from Repco. Undo it and take it in, there are a couple of
different types. If the alternator is a japanese variety, may i suggest you're better
off to pick up a Bosch 55 amp from the wreckers out of a 200B/Bluebird etc., should
cost
$50 or so.
