Firstly, just wanted thank everyone's help with the gearbox installation and associated gremlins. All finished off last night and works fine. It was getting late so I didn't do any more than put in and left it.
One question I did have though was when putting the extractors back on, I knocked off the low tension wire that comes out of the distributor. I didn't worry about it till I had finished with the exhaust. I then realised I didn't see where it had come off. My understanding is that it should be connected to the negative side of the coil. Can anyone confirm/deny this?
