Ok, this is a bit tricky so I'll tell you how it is in the ACT as
it can't get any better for the P510.
The track of a Aussie Prodn P510 Sedan (Deluxe, GL and the name
variants) is 50.4" with J4.5" ROH steel wheels and 6.00x13 xply
tyres.
The track of a P510SSS Sedan is 51.4" with JJ5.5" ROH Contessa
wheels and 185/70x13 radial ply tyres, these were also a dealer
option (not factory) for the P510 Sedan as we sold sh*t loads of
them at Lennocks up until ~1978 as they fitted the 610 sedan as
well.
Now, in the ACT some very very kind person (i don't know if the
Lennocks family had anything to do with this) regd all of the P510
Sedans specs as the SSS specs, so if an engineer or rego dude
looks up the Datto 1600 on his computer he gets 51.4" front track
and so we can go to 52.4" which is exactly what you get with
200BSX /struts/hubs/brakes and 204KGT/Z/Skyline 6" mags with the
standard Nissan backspace of 3 15/16" and 195/60x14 tyres.
>From what I have found over the years the registration specs held
by the local authorities differ from State to State. I know Vic &
NSW have the Std P510 & P510SSS listed as different cars, I
suggest you contact a RMV office in Qld or a local regd engineer
to get a handle on what goes in Qld. The only factory specs I have
are unfortunately for a P510 Sedan as we have never had a reason
to get hold of the real SSS specs.
