gooday
not the idea u r thinking of but in my bros 71 im just buying a universal
switch which ill mount vertical under the dash basically hidden from view
leaving the old ignition in place wires etc just to elude poor thieves into
thinking thats its an easy steal coz i started his car with a plastic
macdonalds sundae key so yeah universal is the way to go its not original
but i tried to get one for my 68 haha yeah right was the only answer i ever
got so yeah now its universal worked out a lot cheaper was easy to fit as 68
is a dash mount not column and now no key will fit it except mine. it was
just a thought as the original ignition would look like its still there but
the other can be hidden
