GUYS the correct tension for all L engine camshaft towers is 10-12 ft-lb
you can remove them and providing the camside of head is straight they can be
replaced Nissan now sell em Remember that a L head has two equally important
surfaces the head/block side and cam side both MUST be parallel to each other and
straight if not you'll snap your cam .Once camtowers are installed and cam fitted
which will normally be a bit tight fit cam to towers and then turn cam while
tapping towers with soft faced hammer cam will free up and be OK if its still
tight after this strip and check for straightness
