Anyone got some answers for me?

I'm only 18 and have my first datto, reasonably hotted for a street car.  
Oversize L20, ported head, 300 degree cam with 1.5 to 2mm of extra lift, 
twin 45's, reasonable suspension,LSD(works a treat) and all the trimmings.  
Anyway with regards to some technical questions I would like to know the 
following:
What are closed and open chamber heads?
What is SQUISH?
Why are 180BSSS heads better for an L20?
Personally my L20 does what I want to do with it, good torque in first and 
second and it revs out to about 7600-7800 RPM.  Anyway anything over 5000 
around Mount Isa with my exhaust and you could guarantee the police like to 
check out your car.
